Description
I made this for a dance performance last spring and just didn't get around to photographing it.
The pattern was just me tracing an existing half-circle skirt that I owned and acommodating the woven fabric (the original was knit).
The fabric is a linen from Jo-Ann, I bought a yard. The waistband has interfacing and I did a lapped 7" zipper at the side.
I made a big mistake in cutting it out and I was worried I wouldn't have enough fabric for the two back panels! Luckily I'm creative, so I made those two triangle-shaped insets at the sides (and then proceeded to put the zipper on the wrong side, so the back became the front). Despite all my mistakes, I love this skirt sooooo much and it's super versatile!
